52 Project - Week 30

On Monday of this week, a blogger I follow, Leslie from A Blonde Ambition,  passed away from a heart condition.  I've followed her blog since she married her husband Stephen.  Tim and I went to school with Stephen and his siblings.  Tim and Stephen played percussion together in high school.  Leslie seemed like such a sweet spirit and my heart hurt when I heard of her passing a few days ago.  She has 2 little girls about 14 months a part like my babies.  I've been holding my babies even tighter this week.  Please be praying for their family. Thanks!

We went downtown on Monday and went up in the Big Wheel with Dave and Tricia - if you're in Seattle, do it! 

4th of July

We had fun celebrating the 4th of July this year!  Mom, Madelyn and I got our nails done on Friday.  And of course little girly wanted red, white and blue nails.  That kid, love her. 

Saturday we hung out at home that morning, kids took naps, then we headed to our friends ,the Jones', house.  We had a fun time hanging out with friends and even kept the kids out late to watch the fireworks.  It was their first year to stay out late and watch them.  They were soo excited!  Madelyn talked the whole time they were going off....thanks to lots of sugar beforehand.  Theo held his hands over his ears the whole time, but said he liked them.  We had a nice show on the drive home as well.  Tons of fireworks going off around the house!
