The kids were Elsa and Olaf this year!  Madelyn got an Elsa costume for her birthday last year and we borrowed an Olaf costume from a friend.  Worked out well!  We had fall fest at church the Sunday night before Halloween.  It was snowing and cold, but still fun.  Halloween night we ate some dinner then went trick or treating around the neighborhood.

Missouri Visit

My very very good and close friend, Brandy, had her first little baby girl back in September.  I was able to fly over to visit with she, her husband Matt and baby Caroline for a few days.  It was such a sweet visit.  We met in college; lived across the hall from each other and have been good friends ever since.  Lots of laughs between us I must say.  We also lived next door to each other in our "underground" {cheap} apartments during college as well.  My parents came up for a few days to visit since Springfield is about 4 hours North.
